

She was born in Kastania, Greece, the daughter of Alkiviades and Vassiliki (Lazaridis) Christodoulou. RoseAnn came to the United States through Ellis Island at the age of two with her family and settled in Welch, WV. She grew up there and prior to obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Business, she worked as a switchboard operator for the Appalachian Mountain Electric Power Company. After marrying her husband, Socrates, they moved to Concord, NH in the 1940’s. A longtime member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, she joyfully shared the love and giving within the Greek Orthodox community. RoseAnn once presided over the PTA and the Women’s Philoptochos Society. In her youth she was athletic, enjoyed singing, playing the violin, dancing and always had a deep appreciation for fashion, music and the arts. She was a natural fund raiser, a loving mother, dedicated wife, wonderful entertainer, outstanding cook and the perfect hostess.
She was predeceased by her husband Socrates C. Bolgouras in 1997 and one son, Constantine Bolgouras in 1986.
She is survived by one son, Alkiviades Bolgouras of Concord, one daughter, Frederica Bolgouras of New York City, one sister, Helen Charitos of Athens, Greece, nieces and nephews .
Calling hours will be held from 6PM to 8PM on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 68 North State Street, Concord. Burial will follow at the Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.
