

“Ginny” was born November 29, 1927, in Lowell, Mass to the late Dorothy Clare Milliken and the late Carlton Sherman Milliken Sr.
Ginny was a Concord High School graduate. She married Philip L. King Jr. of Concord on April 24, 1948. After years raising a family, she worked at the NH Farm Bureau Federation and later at the NH Technical Institute and the NH State Library.
She also volunteered at the Alzheimer’s Association and was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Church in Concord.
Ginny was avid reader who enjoyed candlepin bowling, was a loyal Red Sox rooter and an artist who loved to sketch and paint in watercolors.
She was predeceased by her husband Philip L. King Jr. of Concord and brothers Carlton S. Milliken Jr., David C. Milliken and Don C. Milliken all of Concord.
Ginny is survived by her children: Philip L. King III and his wife Linda King of Concord, daughter Pamela D. Prescott and her husband Tom Prescott of Leominster Mass., daughter Judith A. King and her long-time companion, Jim Mernin of Alton NH and son Matthew C. King of Epsom NH.
her grandchildren: Matthew P. King and Sarah L. King of Concord, Amanda Matt and her husband Eric Matt of Marlboro, VT. Stacey Fuqua and her husband James Fuqua of St. Petersburg Fla., and Cameron King Of Epsom,
her brother James W. Milliken and his wife Susan of Concord and Carole A. Milliken of Concord, wife of her late brother, David C. Milliken as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, June 21 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at St. Paul’s Church in Concord with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 am at the church. A private family graveside service at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord will be held later in the day. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 21 Centre Street, Concord, NH 03301
