Born on July 2, 1936 in Burke County, She was the daughter of the late Clyde Yates Mull and Sarah Young Mull.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Mull and wife, Frances, Arnold Mull, and Fletcher Mull; and a sister, Jeanette Reese.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debra Cantor and husband, William of Maiden, and Paula Crumpler of Newton; grandchildren, Joy Abernathy, Chris Killian, Deanna Williams, Dallas Crumpler, Starr Shafer, Shoney Cantor; sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
A service of remembrance will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover, NC with Rev. Rick Haug officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Drum Funeral Home in Conover.
