Dianne Marie Sipe Coffey

Dianne Marie Sipe Coffey, age 66, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Catawba Valley Medical Center Hickory, NC. Born February 6, 1950, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Donald Richard Sipe and Dorothy Helen Dellinger Sipe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ronald Glenn Coffey “Instant,” and her uncle, Glenn Edgar Sipe. Dianne cherished her kids and grandkids. For 22 years she worked at Frye Regional Medical Center as a respiratory Therapist, where she was devoted to taking care of others. She would donate her last penny to charity or even give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Anyone and everyone was always welcome at the Coffey house.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jennifer Huffman and husband Paul of Claremont, Tina Knopp and husband Jerry of Newton and Michelle Sweet and husband Bobby of Vale; son, Joseph Coffey and wife Tina of Conover; grandchildren, Derick Sweet and wife Jenny, Dylan Sweet and wife Brittanie, Tyler Knopp and wife Mariah, Molli, Maggie and Braden Huffman, Anthony and Adeley Coffey and Casey Rogers; Aunt, Deen Sipe; and her loving dog Hootie.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover, NC with Dr. Ed Yount officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
