In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J.C. Sigmon; three brothers Craig Stewart, Ray Stewart, Grover Stewart; two sisters Margie S. Spencer and Daisy S. Gregory.
Inez is survived by two brothers, John H. Stewart and wife, Evelyn, of Catawba and Delane “Dee” Stewart and wife, Geraldine, of Claremont; one sister, Virginia S. Ledford of Denver; sister-in-law, Sally Stewart of Catawba; one brother-in-law, Vernon Spencer of Catawba; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Before retiring, she worked in the retail business. She was a lifelong member of Catawba Baptist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Starr, Chapter 124 of Catawba.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Catawba Baptist Church.
