Joanna Lynn Pendell, 61, of Hickory passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Born July 11, 1953 in Oil City, PA, she was the daughter of Syvilla Lang. Joanna was a self-employed artist.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Pendell, and a son, Albert Pendell.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover. Pastor Jim Luck will officiate at the service.
