Kay Maxwell

Born September 23, 1941 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Warren and Zoie Hoke Warren and was a receptionist at R.J. Reynolds in Winston-Salem.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, E.L. Maxwell, three brothers and three sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is the father of her children, Kenn L. Little of Hickory; son, Kevin L. Little and wife, Susan of Holly Springs, NC; daughter, Kim L. Powell and husband, Steve of Senoia, GA; sisters, Coline Hedrick of Claremont, Judy Simmons, of Conover; grandchildren, Matthew R. Powell, Katherine M. Powell, Savannah L. Little, Candace L. Little; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Claremont with Rev. Wesley Frye officiating. Burial will follow at Claremont City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
