

Born December 29, 1926 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Bud and Sallie Kanipe Goble. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Conover and had worked at Conover Glove and Newton Glove as a sewer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Pinkney Hedrick, and second husband, Darius Ikerd; a son, Larry Ray Hedrick; brothers, Max Kanipe, Ray Kanipe, and Glenn Goble; and sisters, Ruby Scronce, Della Williams, Ruth Cline, and Annie Hedrick.
Survivors include her son, Tommy Hedrick and wife Nancy of Statesville; step-son, Harry Ikerd of Newton; brother, Charles Goble of Conover; a sister, Alice Moonie; four grandchildren, Richie A. Hedrick, Dana Clippard, Joy Lowery and Tammy Blaj; nine great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. Rudy Allen DeRosa, M. Div. will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Drum Funeral Home in Conover.
