Pauline Hicks Setzer

Born February 19, 1937 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Howard Luther Hicks and Eloise Vanderburg Hicks and was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Pauline worked as credit manager at Ridgeview Hosiery and retired in 1983.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years, Kenneth Glenn Setzer; 2 daughters, Karen Blevins and husband, Bill of Lake Mary, FL, and Lisa Brittain and husband, Kirk of Hickory; grandchildren, Adrian Blevins Griffin and husband, Ronald, Kenneth Clark “Kacy” Blevins, Hannah Alexander Robinson, Lexie Glenn Robinson; great-grandchildren, Emma Griffin and Carter Griffin.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Conover with Rev. A. Mark Schudde and Pastor Brian Weaver officiating. Burial will be private at Eastview Cemetery in Newton.

The family will receive friends following the service at Concordia Lutheran Church on the Courtyard.
