

Born May 31, 1931 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Fannie Burgin Lineberger. She retired from Broyhill Furniture and was a member of McQueen’s Chapel in Conover where she was the mother of the church and a life-long member of the choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Honorable George Garfield Cline; daughter, Alice C. Ramseur; brothers, Donald Lineberger, Charles Edward Lineberger, Gaither Lineberger, Frank Lineberger, James Dallas Lineberger and William Lineberger; and sisters, Henretta Robinson, Gertrude Danner, Phyllis Jones, Nellie Lineberger, Elsie Lineberger, Minnie Lineberger, and Mary Rhinehardt.
Mrs. Cline is survived by: a son, Paul David Cline of Newton; grandchildren, Scott Haynes and wife Kristie of Conover; Regina Martin and husband Michael of Conover, Tonya Haynes of Greensboro, NC, David Brown of Newton, and Nikki Brown of Newton, and Jason Cook and wife Jessica of Claremont; 10 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at McQueen’s Chapel. Rev. Dale Snead will officiate and burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m. on Monday at the church.
