Sarah Willie Bollinger Kiser

Sarah Bollinger Kiser, age 92, formerly of Conover, N.C. died October 13th at the Gardens Health and Rehab Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Born February 25,1923 in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Wellington Evans Bollinger and Bleka Ruth Hunt Bollinger. She retired from Jackson Buff Corporation in Conover, NC where she worked for 31 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Conover, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Kiser; brothers, Donald Bollinger, Johnny Bollinger, Ray Bollinger and Paul Bollinger; and sisters, Nettie B. Medlin, Frances B. Rowell and Irene B. Morrison.

Mrs. Kiser is survived by her daughters, Kathy Kiser Kanely (Jim Kanely) of Port Orange, FL and Cindy Kiser Goforth (Duff Goforth) of Blairsville, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer Goforth of St. Petersburg, Florida, Michele Shoemaker of Orlando, Florida and SueEllen Paterson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; great grandchildren, Robert James and Jackson Duff Emmons of Saint Petersburg, Florida, Mira Anjali, Cale James and Abilgail Grace Shoemaker of Orlando, Florida, and Sophie Mae and Rhett Charles Paterson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and brother, Jack Bollinger of Phoenix, Arizona.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2015 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover, NC. Rev. Scott Bollinger will officiate. Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory, NC.

The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
