Sylvia Louise Trevino

Born February 24, 1958 in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of Lee and Lovena Lail Scronce.

Mrs. Trevino was preceded in death by sisters Jennifer Scronce and Lisa Lynn; and a nephew Michael Crouse.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Trevino is survived by her husband, Ezekial Trevino; children Jorden Mitchell and fiancé Richard Williams, Andrew Grant, Jamen Mitchell and wife Kelly; grandchildren Skyler Coulter and Isaac Mitchell and unborn baby Mitchell; sisters Brenda Crouse, Renea Scronce, and Crystal Scronce; brothers, Ronald Scronce, Danny Scronce, and Jeffrey Scronce and wife Patty; nieces and nephews, Christopher Scronce, April Scronce, Candace Brown, Amanda Laws, Brandon Scronce, Wendy Scronce, Logan Scronce, Jacob Brown and Kaitlyn Brannock; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rachel Trevino, Alice Trevino, Mickey Trevino, Joe Trevino, Lupe Trevino, Danny Trevino, Fedencia Trevino, and Janie Trevino.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15 at Mountain View Mennonite Church. Pastor Chuck Hostetter will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain View Mennonite Church, 5252 Hwy 10 West, Hickory, NC 28602.

The Lord took another Angel today. We know you’re home and pray that you have found the peace and comfort there with our Lord Jesus Christ, a peace that you so desired. We will miss you and are terribly sad to have lost you so unexpectedly. We love you to infinity.
