Tommy Joe Melton, 63, of Catawba died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Abernethy Laurels in Newton. Born May 12, 1951 in Richland County, South Carolina, he was the son of James Edward Melton, Sr. and Goldie Dickerson Melton. He was employed in the furniture industry.
Survivors include a sister, Jane Rhyne of Catawba, NC.
