Victor Lee Holt

Vic was a life-long Gamecocks fan. He graduated from North Brunswick High School outside of Wilmington NC in 2003, where he played football, wrestled, and threw shotput. He then went on to Western Carolina University.

Victor was always the funny guy in the group, he never took anything too seriously. His favorite things to do were to watch football and spend time with his kids and he loved the beach. He also enjoyed camping and drinking beer while talking about politics and science fiction. His favorite bands were Queen, Pink Floyd, Cream, Smashing Pumpkins, Greta Van Fleet, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, CCR, and above all Led Zeppelin.

He was a loving father and open-minded and it is very sad to have lost such an amazing human being.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Ray Holt and uncle, Christopher Holt.

Victor leaves behind two daughters, Keegan and Audrina Holt; and their mother, Jennifer Holt, of Statesville; his grandmother who raised him, Beatrice Anne Holt of Lenoir; His long-time girlfriend, Miranda Taylor and her children, Maggie and Mario; his father, Luther Wallace of Camden, SC; mother, Lisa; step-dad Walt Petry of Shreveport, LA; uncles, Michael and Hank Holt; siblings, Mitch Petry, Penni Allen and her husband James of Georgia, Luke Wallace and wife Kelsey of Pelion, SC; Sylvia Wallace and wife,Tiffany of Pelion, Alisha Chavis and husband, Josh of Pelion, Kayla Wallace and wife, Brittany of Columbia, SC; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020, at Drum Funeral Home in Conover, NC, with Rev. Peggy Stout officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m at the funeral home.
