A Service in Loving Memory of Anna Mae Adams, 97, of Conroe will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Mark Sandell officiating. The Family will receive guests Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home and have a Reception following the Services at 12:00 PM in the Catering Room.
Ms. Adams was born February 24, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and went to be with her Lord on February 21, 2026 in Conroe, Texas.
She grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and as a young woman was a supervisor for Smith Cline and French, where she met the father of her children and was married in Ithica, New York in 1957. Over the next several years, her husband’s work had them moving across the country living in multiple states. She eventually settled in Gulf Port Mississippi where she lived from 1974 – 2000. During that time, she acquired her Real Estate license and had a very successful Real Estate career, which she greatly enjoyed. She also worked with the Urban Housing and Development division for the state of Mississippi. She retired in 2000 and moved to Montgomery, Texas to be closer to her family. Ann was an active member of the Father’s House Congregational Church, where she led multiple bible studies and was involved in other church activities as well.
Anna loved her dogs, especially German Shepards and later in life enjoyed her beloved Yorkey, Sammie. She was an avid card player with Bridge being her favorite. She enjoyed the Holidays with family and friends and was an exceptional cook. Ann was loved by all and had a very kind and loving heart and was full of wisdom. Her love for Jesus was known by all and she shared that love with everyone that she came into contact with.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Adams. Anna is survived by her sons, Jay Adams & wife, Melissa and Clifford Adams; her daughter, Cynthia Adams; her Grandchildren, Tiffany Winters, Joshua Mueller, Katie Adams, Warner Adams and Step Granddaughter Heather Jameson and Three Great Grandchildren.
