Barbara Ruth Harber

Barbara Ruth Harber, 84, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. Barbara was born February 2, 1937 in Crockett, Texas the daughter of Clinton Green and Ruth Green Brown and spent most of her young life there. She moved to Alvin, Texas and graduated from Alvin High School in 1955. She was a hairdresser and owned two shops in the Houston area, many of her clients became lifelong friends. Eventually she and Bobby her husband of 55 years moved to Panorama Village. Barbara loved playing cards, dancing, the beach, traveling and art. She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband Bobby Harber, daughter Rene Ebelt and son in law C.F. Ebelt, son Wade Watson and daughter in law Becky Watson, daughter Dixie Fincher and son in law Andy Fincher, grandchildren, Tysen Ebelt, Danielle Ebelt, Rachael Watson, Travis Watson, and wife Anna Watson, Jacob Watson, Morgan Watson, Andy Fincher, Jr. and wife Sherry Fincher, Amber McCall and husband Kevin McCall, Adam Fincher and wife Courtney Fincher, Autumn Griffin and husband Rudy Griffin, Elliott Fincher and wife Maegan Fincher, Watson Fincher and wife Selina Ortiz, and Ivy Fincher, great grandchildren, Donovan Fincher, Brian McCall, Mason McCall, Drake Ebelt, Sailor Fincher, Crystal Tracy and husband Joseph Tracy, Randy Neal and wife Karly Neal, Avery Fincher, Emma Fincher, Cate Fincher, Bella Griffin, Brinkley Griffin, Marin Fincher, Collins Fincher, Reese Fincher, Matilda Fincher, great great grandchildren, Alysa Tracy, Vincent Tracy, and Johann Neal. She was preceded in death by her father Clinton Green, mother Ruth Brown, step father Napolean Brown, sister Hazel Moore and husband Jeff Moore, sister Jean Perry and husband Dixie Perry, and great granddaughter Zoey Ebelt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2021, at Cashner Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Crockett Evergreen Cemetery.
