Betty Sue Reynolds passed away peacefully March 4, 2026 at the age of 92. She was born in Oden, Arkansas, the eighth child of 12 children, that included 7 girls and 5 boys. Her parents were Rellis Winfred and Willie Margaret O'Neal.
She graduated from Lake Hamilton High School where she studied journalism, participated in FHA, played basketball, and starred in the school play. Betty left Arkansas, known as the land of opportunity, in her own words...at the first opportunity she had. Betty left Arkansas for Texas and soon married James Franklin Reynolds who followed her to Texas. They had 3 children: Monica, Paul, and Ronnie.
Her extraordinary skills included baking, cooking, sewing, quilting, fishing, and effortlessly throwing out quick witted zingers. She was a member of Spring Baptist Church and was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Betty will be deeply missed. She was proceeded in death by her Husband, James Franklin Reynolds; Granddaughter Jackelyn Loucinda Reynolds and Granddaughter Kyla Dawn O'Farrell Vallejos Left to remember her are her daughter Monica Reynolds; sons Paul Reynolds and Ron Reynolds and wife Lisa; grandchildren Bridget O'Farrell Villarreal and husband Craig Villarreal, April Meyers and husband Jason, Travis O'Farrell, Isaac Reynolds and wife Kimberly, Matthew Reynolds, Jacob Reynolds and wife Belen and Jordan Reynolds; great Grandchildren Tristen O'Farrell, Brendon Villarreal, Wyatt Villarreal, Cayden Vallejos, Blayson Vallejos, Dailyn Vallejos, Sydnie Meyers, Sadie Meyers, Jackson Meyers, Hannah Reynolds, Jocelyn Reynolds, Gwendolyn Reynolds and Journey Reynolds; brother John O’Neal and sister Joyce O’Neal. her extended and beloved Dawnbrook Family, Gibson Sapao, Iris Colon, Jharen Salazar, Marie Ulleth, Sherwin Pananga, Ian Agtarap, Donna Nelson and Many other relatives and friends. Honored Pallbearers are Paul Reynolds, Ron Reynolds, Travis O'Farrell, Isaac Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds, Jacob Reynolds, Jordan Reynolds, Craig Villarreal, Brendon Villarreal and Wyatt Villarreal.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 5:00pm till 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd Conroe, Texas, 77303. Funeral services will be Monday, March 9, 2026, at 10:00am at Cashner Funeral Home. Interment will be Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00am at Zavalla Cemetery in Zavalla, Texas.
