
Beverly was born on January 31, 1933 in Wolf Point, Montana to Phillip George and Wilhelmina “Minnie” Louise Artz Geisen.
Beverly is survived by her eight children, Brent (Cheryl) Nielsen, Scott (Jacquelyn) Nielsen, Randal (Penny) Nielsen, Karen (Larry) Bailey, Kimberly (Randy) Webb, Wendy (Randy) Kell, Melanie (Thomas) Horan, Eric (Christi) Nielsen; eighteen grandchildren, Jennifer Lewis, Daniel Nielsen, Nicole Williams, Dusty Gabel, Justine Nielsen, Danielle Nielsen, Jacques Nielsen, Ty Bailey, Taylor Webb, Bridget Stevens, Randy Joe Kell Jr., Stephen Kell, Laney Kell, Quincy Kell, Blythe Hinojosa, Brooke Horan, Devin Horan, Chloe Horan; and eight, almost nine great grandchildren, Anders Lewis, Diavik Nielsen, Ria Williams, Gavin Gabel, Brett Gabel, Braxton Stevens, Chesten Kell, Bristol Hinojosa and Bristol’s new sibling expected to arrive any day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Minnie Geisen, her sisters, Lauretta Reid, Bernice Bridges, Ruth Gould, a brother Reverend Bernard Geisen, two siblings who died at birth, and former spouse Harlan Nielsen.
Beverly led an incredibly full life that was marked by her devotion to family, loyalty to friends and generosity to the Catholic Church. Her legacy, first and foremost, is her children. She gave selflessly of her time and resources to the church and those in need. She was a counselor to many and was loved for her guidance and genuine love she gave to all she touched.
While growing up in Montana, Beverly met the love of her life, Harlan, and got married after graduating from High School. As a Navy wife for twenty years, she moved multiple times throughout the United States, while raising her eight children. She returned and settled in Kingsville, Texas in 1971 where she earned her GRI and Broker real estate licenses. She developed her business, Ranch Town Realty and was an active business woman in the Kingsville community. Beverly was a member of St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Kingsville, Texas and was active in the Bishops Guild of the Catholic Diocese of Corpus Christi.
Her celebration of life will be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Kingsville, Texas. A rosary service will be held Sept 2, 2011 at 7:30 P.M. and funeral services will be held Sept 3, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.
