Bradley Paul Andersen, 55, passed away from Sudden Cardiac Death on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022, in Fargo, ND. Born March 26, 1967, to Paul and Jerene Andersen, he was raised in Elk Horn, IA, and moved to Texas in 1980.
He graduated from Conroe High School in 1984, and went to work for his father's land clearing company as a heavy equipment operator, which he started learning at the age of 14.
It became his life, and he was a perfectionist as a master of his craft. He spent many years working locally, then all over the country as an operator in pipeline construction before joining IUOE Local 49 out of Minnesota in 2015. He traveled the country and enjoyed visiting the national parks and race tracks, as he was a racing enthusiast, as well as also racing online, making friends everywhere he went along the way. He was also rather health conscious, and enjoyed working out and eating organically. He loved his family, friends and especially his two Australian Shepherds, Dane And Nels. He was very proud of his Danish heritage as well.
He is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Rodriguez, of Houston, TX, Father, Paul Andersen, of Montgomery, TX, Sister, Jennifer Andersen, of Montgomery, TX, Aunt, Sue Heyne, of Atlantic, IA, Nephews Chance Vyoral and Chase Bailey, of Montgomery, TX, and is preceded in death by Mother Jerene Andersen, Conroe, TX, Brother Jeffrey Andersen, Elk Horn, IA, Uncle Tim Christensen of Exira, IA, Grandparents Hans and Sylvia Andersen, Elk Horn, IA, Nels and Jo Ellen Christensen, Exira, IA
Brad was a father, brother, uncle, true friend and mentor to many people over his time on this Earth. His preventable death was a shock to all who knew him. On November 11, 2022 at 10 AM, the family requests everyone to join us in the celebration of Brad's life at Cashner Funeral Home, located at 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Medical Malpractice Advocacy Association in Missouri City, TX.
Brad will be laid to rest in his hometown, Elk Horn, IA.
