Carl Worth Covington

Carl Worth Covington was born on July 10, 1939, in Hereford, Texas. He went into the loving arms of Jesus on March 16, 2021. Carl is survived by his loving wife Jeanette of 58 years, son Kevin and his wife Angela of Andrews, Texas; son, Jeff and wife Jennifer of New Braunfels, Texas and grandchildren, Katie, Kyle, Autumn, and Cade.

His family will welcome visitors to Cashner Funeral Home on Saturday, March 20th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. following visitation in the Garden Park Cemetery.

Carl taught school and coached in San Antonio, Clint, and Dripping Springs. He retired from the Texas Education Agency, Division of School Transportation. He loved his family, friends, church, and was an avid sports fan. He was an active member, deacon, usher/greeter at First Baptist Church in Willis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Willis.
