Chrissie "Cat" Dixon

Chrissie “Cat” Dixon, 41 of New Waverly lost her courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Cat was born January 26, 1980 to Duane and Fran Brown in Spring Branch, Texas. Cat graduated from Conroe High School in 1998. She worked as the office manager of Brown Brothers Fire Protection and in her spare time would volunteer her time at New Horizons, working with special needs children. Cat also attend Whispering Pines Church where she was baptized at the age of 11.

She was happily married to her loving husband of 18 years, Jack Dixon. They were blessed with two lovely daughters, Brianna Leigh and Bailee Ann. Cat is also survived by her parents Duane and Fran Brown, brother Thomas Brown, mother and father- in-law, Michelle and Eddie Hoffman, brother-in-laws, Michael Dixon and wife Jaclyn, and Larry Dixon and wife Melissa, grandmothers Mary-Jane Brown and Nancy Dixon, nieces, Alyssa Brown, Candice Brown, and Madison Dixon, nephews William Dixon, Isaac Dixon, Matthew Dixon, and Austin Brown, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cat was preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Brown.

A memorial service will be held for Cat on Thursday, October 28th at 10:00 a.m. at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe.
