Claude E. Waldrop

Claude Waldrop, 86, of Conroe, Texas, was welcomed into the arms of his Lord October 16, 2010. Claude made a profession of faith in his Lord at an early age. He was an accomplished carpenter who loved to fish, garden, play the harmonica and guitar and took residence in heaven’s celestial band.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Margie Stowe Waldrop. He is survived by his son Carl Waldrop and his wife Linda of Willis, TX; daughters Sharon Piersol and husband Paul of New Waverly,TX and Wanda McGlothern and husband Danny of New Waverly, TX; grandchildren Mike McGlothern, Blake Waldrop, Michelle Whitecotton, Dana Slocumb and Whitney Pate; great grandchildren Kole Waldrop, Loryn Piersol and Kinley Pate; sisters Myrtle McCalman, Doris Skoba, Louise Quarles; brother Ralph Waldrop and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Blake Waldrop, Ricky Bailey, Bruce Fontenot,David Ward, Mark Stevenson and Danny McGlothern.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Service and Glory to God will be given by Rev. Robert Besser at Cashner Funeral Home on October 19, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cashner Colonial Chapel.
