Curtis Emerson Withrow passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the age of 68, in his home in Conroe Texas. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia in a naval hospital on November 21, 1949 to the late Luther and Esther Withrow. He grew up in Baltimore Maryland while spending much of his time in West Virginia where his parents were from. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Martin Withrow, nephew, Chad Patton and great nephew, Landon Lowe. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Deborah Withrow, sons, Charles Granger, Dustin Granger and wife Amy, daughter, Candice Withrow and grandchildren, Hannah Granger, Dylan Granger, Jack Granger, Nicholas Bain, Ella Granger and Eli Granger. Also, survived by 3 sisters Charlene Mengel and husband Donald, Phyllis Porterfield and husband Ronnie, Pandora Buckland and husband Ronnie. Many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and other family also survive. He was a veteran of the US Army and very proud of his service to his country from 1968 to 1970 including 10 months in Vietnam and received numerous metals for his service. He worked as a maintenance mechanic in the healthcare industry for over 30 years. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Mengel, Charles Granger, Dustin Granger, Jack Granger, Dylan Granger and Ronnie Borel.
