David Preston Jackson

David Preston Jackson Sr. was born on January 30, 1941 in Town Creek, Alabama and passed away Saturday July 26, 2014 in Huntsville, Texas at the age of 73. David was a member of the Elks Lodge #2584. He was a loving husband, daddy and poppa and enjoyed spending time with all of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Virgie Crittenden Jackson, by his two brothers Edgar Eugene and Robert Jackson, and his sister Minnie Mason. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Evelyn Jackson, by his two sons David Jackson Jr. and wife Peggy and Danny Jackson and wife Lanell, by his daughter Evelyn Deanne Mixon and husband Dennis Sr., by his sister Alice Youngblood, by his brother Jerry Jackson, his grandchildren include: Marie, Melisa, David III, Danny Jr., Jeffery, Dennis Jr., Courtney and Ashley, and eighteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Tuesday July 29, 2014 from 6-9pm. Funeral service will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at 10am with Bro. James High as minister. Burial will be in the Hagan Cemetery in Crockett at 2pm.
