David, you were always a great guy in my book, so I know what you take with you  is ALL good

From all the previous posts, it's obvious I am not alone when I say I too can't think of David and not think of laughter and what a joyous, loving spirit he displayed.  What a wonderful legacy~

My condolences, thoughts & prayers go out to Lloyd, Mary, Roger, John, Sue & David Ray.  As well as to all of his other wonderful family members and dear friends.

May God keep hold you close during this difficult time.

So many memories...You were a great brother-in-law! Your jovial generous spirit will be missed.  Whether it be your sneaking up behind me & making me go through the roof, or your always being someone I knew would help if I needed it...I count it a blessing to have been a part of your life. Now brother, as you used to say when we lived in the Islands..."Just another day in Paradise"...and now I respond," I can't wait to join you!"

What a ride we had. The good times & bad, the laughs & the tears. But through it all you kept your faith. I'll miss our "Chill" weekends. Next time won't be the same without you, but I know you want us to continue on laughing & loving one another. Rest in Peace my friend and I will see you on the other side.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My condolences to the entire Owens family.

My prayers go out to David's family and loved ones at this very sad time for us all.  David was always one of those people who had a contagious smile and was fun to be around.  Since we were both the new kids in town so many years ago, David was there for me.  Though we moved apart over the years, I will always count him one of my best friends.  There is comfort in knowing he is with his Savior but there is still pain here and now.  I will see you again my friend.

David Lloyd you came into this world on a Mother's Day, just like your son.  He is blessed with your name & your fathers name.  You have enriched my heart and soul forever.  You went out of this world on an explorers holiday.  May you explore the Lord's Kingdom now.  Keep a watch over us green eyes ~

I can think about him and still hear his contagious laugh! What a fun, loving, sweet-spirited guy! Always telling jokes and trying to make us laugh. We will miss him so very much.  I love you Uncle D??

Uncle Dave, 
You have always been the epitome of taking things in stride. You always treated everyone as equals and were so great with kids (I think because you always kept that free spirit). You told me my first Aggie joke and I'll never forget your dance moves from my wedding with Blaine (the Aggie). I'm not sure if you were the first one to call me "Tiffy" but you our the one that kept it going. I love you Uncle David. You always knew how to cheer up a room! 
You are missed!

I will always remember Uncle David as the fun, loving person he was. He had a huge heart and was the sweetest person. He always made me feel special and would make time to visit with me when I saw him. I am so thankful for the time my family and I got to spend with him this past July. He will be missed very much. Love you Uncle David!

To you dad, I love and miss you. don't really know right now where life will take me. I am here for you , and you here for me as my angel. I'll do whatever it takes to make you smile down upon me and send golden rays of sunshine. do my best to console your parents and my grandparents. I love you dad and even though I have a hole in my heart that can never be filled, I'll do my best to make you proud, and carry on your good vibes and positive outlook on life. we can only do our best, and pray that we bring the best to others.

My condolences to you and your family! It is hard to understand why those we love are taken from us so soon, but please find comfort in knowing that he rests in the arms of Jesus now,and he is and will always be your guardian angel!  My daughter can show him around!  Love you Sue!

I am devastated of the loss of my sweet big brother David. I will miss him greatly. The only comfort that I have is to know that he is with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ,and some day I will see him again. I love you David!

I am so shocked to here about David's passing..although we never actually met..I feel like I knew him from conversations that Sue and I would have..David Ray..your daddy loved you unconditionally and you need to make him proud every day of your life..he will always be with each one of yall in your hearts..love never dies.

We are terribly saddened to hear about David's passing as he was certainly one of the bright spots of growing up in Spring and someone that we had a close relationship with, like a son and brother. We always have enjoyed having him in our lives.  We send our love and prayers to his precious family. We hope that you find comfort in the love of your family and friends but most of all in God.
