I'm sorry this is so late but I just found out about Del's passing. I had meetings with Del regarding our Chemical Plants Mechanical Integrity program and Del was extremely helpful and was probably the smartest man regarding the API codes that are needed for MI Programs. He was a happy, kind hearted man that I had a lot of respect for and I can't imagine how much he is and will be missed. Rest in Peace Del and I will see you on the other side. God Bless you!!

Del,
So many good memories in our lives. 
* I remember when you first came to Cherrydale from Lake Charles and we shared the add-on bedroom. You started in the piping trades shortly afterwards. 
* I joined about two years later and remember working out at Shell with you as an apprentice. 
* I remember the apartments on Strawberry Road and being neighbors with you and Roxie on Oleander, watching each other’s children grow. 
* We worked together in Oregon at the Trojan nuke. 
* And in Alaska on the pipeline where you talked to the Business Manager and got me the job I so desperately needed. 
* And at the nuke near Bay City,
* Fast-forward years later as your career led you to become a subject matter expert in the field of mechanical integrity and mine led me to become a mechanical engineer,
* And you led your team in a presentation given to the VP of M.I. and his entire department at my company, where they are now better at what they do because of it. 
* Now at the autumn of our life, even though you are “Uncle Del” you are and have always been more like a brother and a dear friend!
* So, with my deepest sincerity, I say for Mary and I, and my family, “thanks Del.”
I know that you are with Jesus in Paradise, and that where you are, we all should long to be!  Come quickly Lord Jesus!


Del always cared about how you were doing.  He would help you out anytime  and was always there for me when we worked together.  I will always remember our business trips together, working trade shows with you, hanging out at your house grilling, and our meals together when we traveled.  Del was one of the good guys and he never changed over all the years I knew him.  Del, you will he deeply missed,  but I will always smile when I think about you and the great times we shared. 

You will always be in my heart and I will carry your spirit with me always.


Del was the best boss to work for. I learned a lot under him. I will be forever grateful for the phone call from him the summer of 2012 when he asked if I would work for the MI group. 
Del always wanted to know how you were doing. He was not all business. He genuinely cared about people.
