He is predeceased by his father, Gabriel Garcia Kabande. He is survived by his parents Mariela Gonzalez Jones and Greg Jones, his brother, Gabriel Garcia Gonzalez, stepsisters Taylor Jones and Caitlin Jones, grandparents Eliseo Gonzalez Calderoni and Maria del Roble Peña, many family members, and friends.
Diego was born in Monterrey, Mexico on February 26, 2004. He was raised Catholic. He moved to The Woodlands/Spring, Texas area at the age of two, and attended Conroe ISD schools all his life. Oak Ridge High School is his last school attended. He planned to pursue a degree in psychology to help others.
Diego will be missed on the soccer fields, and pickup basketball courts by all. His favorite sport was soccer, his most beloved team being Monterrey. Diego was a light in the lives of so many. He loved and respected everyone. He was driven to make the world a better place.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe, TX. Mass at 2:00 pm. Visitation on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Cashner Funeral home in Conroe, TX from 5:00-7:00 PM. All are welcome at the mass and/or visitation to honor Diego.
