Donald Richard Summers Sr.

Donald Richard Summers Sr. was born September 26, 1943 in Houston, Texas and passed away July 29, 2018 at the age of 74. Don was a salesman in the wholesale food industry for many years. He also served his country in the US Coast Guard from 1964-1970. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junius Cecil Summers Jr. and Margaret Mae Reynolds; three grandchildren, Corrina Garcia, Mark Salitros,and Crystal Mackey. Don is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Pat Summers, of Montgomery, Texas; children, Donald R. Summers Jr. and wife Michelle of League City, Texas, Loree J. Tillman and husband Hank of The Woodlands, Texas, step children Christopher Salitros of Houston,Texas, Patrick Salitros of Houston, Texas, Deanna Mackey of Montgomery, Texas, Kathy Salitros of Houston, Texas and Laura Salitros and husband Mike of Montgomery, Texas; step mother, Janiece Summers of Houston,Texas; sister, Laura Sheppard and husband Clive of Montgomery, Texas; brother, Shawn Summers and wife Denise of Tomball, Texas and fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 6-8pm. The Celebration of Life service will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10am at the Lakeside Bible Church with Pastor Kris Stires officiating.
