Dorothy Mae Wagner Swiech went to be with the Lord on January 16th, 2025 at the age of 88. Dorothy was born to Charlie and Mary Wagner in Willis, TX on Mary Wagner Place, delivered by midwife Aunt Pauline, on May 25, 1936. She lived a beautiful and full life in Houston, TX.
Dorothy was a servant at heart. A beautiful definition of love. She lived this out in her life every day. Dorothy enjoyed nothing more than serving the needs of anyone and everyone who had the honor of being close to her heart. Her perfect example of love and service will be missed by all.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anton Swiech (known by most simply as Swiech), her mother Mary B Wagner, and her niece Diane Wagner Konieczny. She leaves behind two brothers - Phillip and Tommy (Joe) Wagner; nephew Randy and his daughter Shelby; nephew-in-law Pat Konieczny and his sons Kyle and Adam; niece Cheryl, her husband John Williams, and their children Jaclyn Fholer, Caitlyn Bellot, Isaac, Jonathan, and Mikayla; uncle Anton Wagner and numerous family members; and cousin Theresa and her husband Willie Hoffart.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 E White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas with a rosary at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 109 N Frazier St, Conroe, Texas 77301. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Shepard Hill Cemetery in Willis, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Jim Butts, Randy Wagner, Willie Hoffart, Adam Konieczny, Kyle Konieczny, and Cary Wagner. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Green, Earl Roberts, Brian Dempsey, Kendall Dempsey, Billy Baker and Roger Easley.
