Evelyn Margaret Adickes

Evelyn was a very active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Conroe. She served as the president of the St. Mark’s Thrift Store. She loved to watch the Hallmark channel and tending to her flower beds. Evelyn was a gifted painter; she would paint wooden Easter eggs for her grandchildren and great grandchildren every year.

She is survived by her daughters, Katherine Erskine and spouse John, and Karen Monroe and spouse John, daughter-in-law Virginia Adickes, grandchildren Derek Erskine and wife Brittany, David Monroe, Michelle Strain and husband Edward, Hannah Galler and husband Doug, Cody Adickes and wife Caitlin, great grandchildren Luka, Oaklyn, Kallyn, Sarah, Samuel, Corbett, Gage, Larkin, Fiona, Reid, and Luna, brother James Rajnoch and wife Fern, sister Dorothy Wilson and husband Dave, and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Adickes, son Bruce Adickes, sister Jean Kleypas, grandson Dustin Erskine, and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
