Grady L. Fossler, 74, went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 30, 2021 and was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his passing. Grady was born February 2, 1947 in Mercedes, TX to the late Lawrence and Doris (Griffin) Fossler and graduated from Mercedes High School in 1965. In November 1969, he married the love of his life Patricia Eilers of Weslaco, TX. After graduating from Texas A&I University in January 1970, they moved to Houston, Texas. Grady proudly earned his CPA Certificate and License while working at Mortgage & Trust. He then continued his career with Ferrostaal, Inc. in Houston, TX where he happily retired in 2015.
Grady and Patricia lived in Houston, TX where they raised their two sons until 1996. Following their dreams of living by the lake, they moved to Willis, TX. Here Grady enjoyed his long walks in the neighborhood with their beloved dog along with being able to visit with the neighbors. An important part of his life was his faith in God, which he was able to grow through his membership, along with his wife and family, at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Conroe, TX.
Grady is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia; their two sons, Michael Fossler and his wife Susan, of Montgomery, TX., and Eric Fossler and his wife Rolanda, of Huntsville, TX; his pride and joy are his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Andrew, Ashley and a grandson on the way; his caring brother, Terry Fossler of Conroe, TX; and numerous nieces & nephews, as well as other extended family and a host of loving and caring friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday, April 5, at 1:00 p.m. for the viewing, following with a funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m. The service will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX. Interment will follow at Garden Park Cemetery next to the Cashner Funeral Home where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
Pallbearers will be Michael Fossler, Eric Fossler, Chris Pogue, Ben Holt, David Gower, Nathaniel Fossler with Terry Fossler and Andrew Fossler as Honorary Pallbearers.
