I knew Howard for many, many years. His father worked for an oil company. His father and my father held the same job but for different companies. He loved the Lord. He did work with boys to help them, counseled with them. He loved his grandchildren and did things with them. We were friends a longtime. Hugged one another and called each other boy friend and girl friend.

The Howard Bock Family, 
These are some of the things I remember about him. –We all enjoyed Sunday School parties at his home. Our favorite “Homemade Ice Cream Socials”, So Good. 
A prayer warrior for all. He was a helper with all the programs at church and he helped with all the needs in out Sunday school class. He would offer special offerings for those in need. The men built ramps for the sick and handicapped. One man needed $500 to keep his wife in the country, he took offering and the total was $501. Howard bought Bibles for the rehab when he taught Bible study for years. He would hold Bible study at Cricket Hollow Apartments on Saturday in Willis and visited hospital patients and those who lost loved ones. He helped with family lunches for those who lost loved ones. 
	Winnie’s and Minnie’s Surprise 70th birthday party. There were 70 people there at Seven Coves Club House. They really surprised us. So much fun. My teacher, his wife, Bro. Charles, and my 3 sons, and their families were all there. Plus so many others. We appreciate it. 
	Went visiting for church in Howard’s neighborhood on a trailer pulled by a truck with bales of hay to sit on. Helping people by having showers for young married, for babies and others.
	We worked with him clearing land for our fellowship hall and kitchen at our church. When we were burning, one of the men lost his glasses in the fire (large fire) and could not retrieve them. He said you know those were my good glasses. Very good natured about it. 
	I will always remember Howard as a counselor, encourager and his love for others. We know he is so happy with Jesus.

Thursday,  April 4th, the gates of Heaven opened wide to let in a well deserved servant.  Words can’t describe the awesome feeling you would encounter being around Howard.  I will certainly miss my Brother-in-Law, and look forward to our meeting again in Heaven.  
Yes, “I AM BLESSED” to have had time here on earth with Howard!

I pray for peace and comfort for my dear friend Jeanette and all of Howard's family. While we mourn for the loss of his love and companionship, we know that Howard has found joy in heaven. 

This photo is from Howard's retirement party.  Howard was a Godly man and close friend, I was truly blessed to have known him.  He believed in others and always made time to talk and pray.  His belief in me means more than words can ever express.
