James Herbert Brown

Funeral services for James Herbert Brown, age 81, of Conroe, will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Mr. John Helbig officiating. Interment will follow in Gaarden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.

James was born March 23, 1929 in Baytown, Texas and passed away on June 29, 2010 at his home in Conroe, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. James was a member of Longmire Road Church of Christ and a former member of Conroe Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Gladine Brown; sisters, Valrie Cansler and Vernell Graf; brothers, Elton L. Brown and W.A. Brown. James is survived by his daughter, Terri Gibson and her husband Michael of Spring; sons, Randy Brown of Conroe and Leslie Brown and Peggy Schaffner of Spring; sisters, Vivian Kinerd and husband Les of Conroe, Linda Phillips and husband Paul of Fair Oaks Ranch, Patsy Ann Brown of Boerne; brothers, Glenn A. Brown and wife Evon of Rosenburg and Dixon E. Brown of Conroe; grandson, Dustin Brown.
