A memorial service for James Raybon Garner, age 71, of Montgomery will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Brother Gary Miller officiating. James was born March 6, 1940 in Athens, Alabama to Timmons Herbert and Willie Turner Garner and passed away on February, 19, 2012 in Shenandoah, Texas. He worked for 25 years as a high rise construction engineer. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mendy Leanne Jones McMullen. James is survived by his wife of 50 years, Iris Garner of Montgomery; daughter, Tammy McMullen and husband Dale of Magnolia; son, James Raybon Garner of Montgomery; sister, Pat Wilson and husband Tommie of Athens, Alabama; brother, J.R. Garner of Conroe; grandchildren, Michael McMullen and Tanna McMullen. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
