He grew up in Oak Lawn, Illinois, before moving to Memphis to attend Christian Brothers University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business. Jim married Laurel “Laurie” LoBello in 1984 in Memphis. Throughout his life, Jim worked in sales and engineering in positions that allowed him to travel throughout the world. He most recently worked as a business development manager at the Houston office of HIMA Americas Inc. An accomplished angler in his spare time, Jim especially enjoyed freshwater, saltwater and surf fishing. Family and friends loved to surround his dinner table in The Woodlands to feast on barbecue, curry, pasta, and other dishes he loved to cook.
