Janie Sue Miller

Janie Sue Miller went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 2, 1944 in Cleburne, TX and died November 21, 2011 in Conroe, TX. She is preceded in death by Mother, Helen Lucille Kennemer; Father, Virgil Dexter Kennemer; Daughter, Jamie Michelle Miller; Brothers, Charlie Kennemer and Larry Kennemer. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, James, Daughters Joni Garnett and husband Brad of Bella Vista, AR and Rhonda Boyd and husband Lauren of Kingwood, TX. Also, Grandchildren, Gage Garnett, Grant Garnett, Hunter Boyd and Delaney Boyd; Sister, Wanda Duff; Brother, Jerry Kennemer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends

Janie will be remembered for her loving and unselfish spirit. She exuded a warm and caring attitude that affected all who knew her. She enjoyed painting, bird watching, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a proud and doting grandparent who loved to attend as many of her grandchildren’s activities as she was able. She was a loving and faithful Christian wife and mother.

Visitation is from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 23, 2011 and funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 25, 2011, both at Metcalf Funeral Home 1801 E. White Oak Terrace Conroe, TX.
