Jerrie Marie Smith

Each day her life was blessed through the love she shared with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grand babies. Her love and unwavering devotion to her precious Lord, was the heartbeat of her life. Mom was the voice that calmed the storms, when life was tough, constantly reminding us it would be ok. Peacefully, Mom has completed her journey home, leaving behind a legacy that spans five generations, we all find comfort in the promise she taught us -- the Blessed Assurance that she is resting in the loving arms of Jesus – Praising our Savior all the day long. Our lives will forever be blessed by her legacy and her light will continue to shine through us all. She will be deeply missed.

Jerrie Marie Smith was preceded in death by her loving husband (Richard) of 58 years. She will be greatly missed by her seven children: Robert Lynn Perkins, wife Virginia, Larry Perkins, wife Joyce, Rhonda Bean, husband James, Justin Lisle Perkins, wife Debbie, Ronnie Smith, wife Angie, Ricky Smith, wife Karoline, Randy Smith, wife Jennifer. Also, by her 22 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren, and 8 Great, Great Grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Leslie Caroll, grandson, John Leslie and grandson, Kristofer Bryant.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe with Pastor Bob Seal, Officiating. Friends are welcome to visit with the family beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
