Jorden Robert Reidel, born on June 8, 1992, in Conroe, Texas, passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 33. Jorden was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jorden began his aviation career during high school and achieved his Private Pilot License alongside graduating Montgomery High school in 2010 at the age of 17. He received his Associates of Applied Science in Aeronautical Technology from San Jacinto College in 2012. Then furthered his career to achieve his Airline Transport Pilot License in 2015. With his passion and strong work ethics, Jorden always strived toward advancing his training and received his helicopter rotorcraft rating in 2023. With his airline and helicopter licenses thus achieving his dream to be able to fly the open skies.
Jorden was known for being a talented BMX bike rider growing up and his personal interests included a love for Houston sports teams, especially the Rockets and Texans. He enjoyed playing golf and had a fondness for water activities, often spending time at the beach, fishing and boating.
On April 22, 2022, Jorden married his wife, Jennifer, and together they welcomed their daughter, Kelsey, into their lives in 2024. Jorden is survived by his wife Jennifer Reidel, daughter Kelsey, his parents Karen and Bob Reidel, and his sisters Jacey Pasket and husband Scott, and Jessica Lovett and husband Trevin, Grandmother Nancy Phillips, Father-in-law Jim Cantwell and wife Joanna, and Mother-in-law Erin Rugare and husband Mark, and many other relatives and friends. Jorden was preceded in death by his best canine companion, Dozer.
A visitation will be held on February 6, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Cashner Funeral Home, located at 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303. The funeral service will take place on February 7, 2026, at 10:00 am at the same location, followed by a committal service at Garden Park Cemetery.
