I woke up this morning, and as I sat and had my morning coffee I realized that I wouldn't be able to tell you this for the first time. Happy Birthday DAD miss you a bunch.......

Wendy, Wade, Jay and Pam I am so very very sorry of the passing of JK, I know heaven is a special place right now, and I know heavens gates opened wide for a great great man.  I know JK will forever look upon you, I know he will forever watch over you. My memory of JK is that wonderful and powerful laugh, his stories and jokes!!!! May God be with you all, I am again so very very sorry!!!! All my thoughts and prayers are with you all today, tomorrow and forever!!!! All my love!!!

Kenneth, you and I shared a lot of love and life for many years……lots of good times.  We were blessed with 3 great children, each of us gave them the best part of us.  I know you are, as I am, so very proud of them.  They have all been so loving and caring in giving you the love and respect you so deserve, WE DID GOOD……
You will FOREVER be in our thoughts as we continue our journey here on earth until each of us join you and all of our loved ones there in Heaven.

I'm forever grateful to Ken for allowing me to participate in his family. I know it couldn't have been easy to inherit a teenager who had a lot of growing up to do. Ken helped shape me into the man I am today and I appreciate all he did to get me here.  There are a lot of people who were touched by Ken and I know each has benefitted from knowing him. I'm thankful his suffering has ended and he is at peace now.

We're so very sorry about Ken's passing. We can remember the first time we met at Rivershade RV Park almost 25 years ago. Enjoyed the many times that we got together over the years. He will be missed. Pat & Sharon

I had a dream the other night..Roy was there to greet Ken on the other side! "Welcome my friend!" You will love being here!  Lots of old friends to greet...."No, it's not like the greeting line at Mo Ranch!...you KNOW these folks and WILL want to hug them!  There's lots to do here and lots of stories to tell!  Lots of laughter! I know you'll love it!   Welcome HOME!  I told this to the folks back home before I left: "When I come to the end of the road..and the sun has set for me..I want no rites in a gloom-filled room...why cry for a soul set free?  Miss me a little...miss me a lot...but not too long and not with your head bowed low... for now I am free!"

We've got lots to do Ken...Lets get started!  We'll greet all the others when they come!

I had a dream a couple of nights ago. Roy was there to welcome Ken to his new home!  It was bright and beautiful and beautiful songs being sung!   Welcome to your new home Ken...glad to see you here. You're going to love it! Yes, there's lots of people to greet but it won't be like the hug-line at Mo Ranch..you know these folks! We'll have a great time!

Welcome home!

John Kenneth,  I have many memories of our growing up days when you lived down the road from me, when your horse ate sugar cubes out of our hand, we played Elsie the Cow board game, and read Roy Roger and Gene Autry comic books.  We walked 3 miles to a one room school building; where there were 3 in our 1st grade.  We chopped cotton, picked blackberries, picked cotton; and we always went to church on Sunday, Ambrose Baptist Church. After we graduated from High School our lives took separate paths and we had our own families;  we never lost touch. You have always been in my life; even when your health was declining, you and Wendy were at my house. I will miss you, your thoughts, advice, your concern for me, all that made you Kenneth. I know heaven is your home and many rewards await you.

Ken, the old gospel song tells us that this world is not our home, that we are just passing through and that our treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.  You are now enjoying those treasures, peacefully resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior.  We are so thankful for those times we shared on earth with you, Wendy and Wade, riding motorcycles, camping, laughing, eating, telling jokes and just enjoying this time on earth together.  Our condolences to your family.  Until we meet again,

Thanks for the memories.  We will sorely miss our camping experiences with the two of you.

Oh my darling, I miss you so very much. You were the very heart of my existence. Your love, companionship and friendship meant the absolute world to me. We had wonderful times together. Whether on the boat, motorcycle or out camping in the RV we experienced a life that was so fulfilling. You took a piece of my heart with you but I know we will be together again. I know you are healthy and strong again and that you don't have to carry that hated "rock" around anymore. For that I am ever grateful. I love you so very much.

I'm not sure how to begin, I'm so thankful I had the honor of spending 46 years of my Fathers company his love, support, and his opinion on many things growing up. I learned so much in life because of you Dad and I have never forgotten them. In the past couple of days I have looked back and thought of the many things we shared in life, the special times you and I shared our love in motorcycles, fishing, John Wayne movies, and well the Dallas Cowboys. I'm also thankful that Mom and Wendy are still in my life and our lives. In the past couple of weeks we shared some wonderful times our family gathering. The visit of Sonny & Marti was a great surprise Dad talked about it for a couple of weeks, Sonny pulled up a chair and sat next to Dad all day and they talked about old times it was Awesome that meant a lot and I thank you for that Sonny, and Monday night Sonny being at the house meant so much to our family you have no idea. I love you DAD and I really miss you right now, you will always hold a very special place in my heart......

Wendy, Jay, Pam and Wade, please accept my condolences for your loss. Marc and I enjoyed many years of friendship with Ken. I am at a loss for words to tell you how I feel. Ken was one of a kind and loved by many. I so admired his strength and deep faith in God. As I talked with him only two days before he lost this earthy battle, I told Ken "God is with you"' he smiled and replied  "I know and I sure need him now." What a man!  I loved listening to his stories.  A remarkable man he was and he will be missed greatly.  Peace be with you all. Love, Marcia

Dad, spending your last couple of days with you was an honor.  Watching you sleep peacefully was comforting and I thank you letting us all be at your side when you got to go home.  Although we all have a heavy heart we know that you are at peace and can do as you please now that you are free of machines and restrictions. 
So,  to th GREATEST man I've ever known I want you to know that I love you with ALL my heart and I thank you for being a good teacher and great father.  I am very proud to be the daughter of a man that is so well thought of, and respected by so many.   I know you will watch over us and continue to guide us down life's paths until we are all together again .  Dad, I love you so.

Howdo JK!! Well you hung on until all us kids arrived & was able to gathers around you one last time. And thank you Lord for granting that prayer. We've known the results of your illness all the while,though it is still heart breaking once it arrived. To the man I always respected, loved and most of the time agreed with. I will miss hearing some of those long winded stories. I'll see ya again in our heavenly bodies.  Love ya Dad
