Kevin 6’7 was a good man. He was an undercover servant of Jesus. Undercover- because he didn’t talk about his fate a lot. But he loved his God, he prayed privately and acted publicly. He served his God in his actions. All of us here, grieving today for Kevin, it’s a testimony of his fate, and his love for his God and people. He was a good son, a good brother, and a good friend. He loved his work at Walden yacht club. He served his country with Honor. His kindness and hard work made him loved by everyone. He treated every lady as his own mother, he showed respect to every gentleman as if they were his father. He treated his friends as brothers. He spent his life on the lookout to help everyone in distress, and he used his hugs, wit and jokes to bring them back to hope.
He loved Jesus and lived by the Bible the best he understood. He was not vocal about his fate, but he lived by it.
Kevin loved his country and joined the Navy to protect it. He was studying hard and earned every possible certification to work on F-18. He was stationed on the USS Ford carrier. He was a hard worker and trained many men who are protecting our country right now, so that we all could be safe. He was deployed 2 extra times besides his contract. His last deployment got extended twice, and the last extension placed him 12 miles off the coast of Gaza. Many Missiles were shot and luckily got blocked by his group, and everyone was safe. Many navy men got PTSD on the carrier; Kevin was one of them. Kevin was honorably discharged from the Navy on April 3, 2025.
He returned to his beloved Walden and spent his last 2 weeks there happy by waving to neighbors and giving them hugs.
He will be missed by all the people that he touched in his short 26 years. People reaching out to his family from all over the world, from Japan to Russia, all to say how much they will miss him and what a wonderful man he was! We are all sad right now, and it's ok. We are sad because we can't hear his laughter or get Kevin's big teddy bear hug. One day we will be reunited, and then there will be no more tears. Kevin did his work here for the Lord. He is with Jesus and Bona, his favorite grandma right now! He doesn’t feel any pain anymore; we can imagine him cracking jokes with angels about his shoes size 17 or maybe he is volunteering to help them.
Kevin loved people, he was full of love, and he gave everything that he had- it was Love and Compassion.
So, as we are all grieving for missing Kevin, don’t let yourself stay too long in sadness, Kevin would not want it. He was the happiest when everyone was happy!
We are grateful to our God for giving us such a wonderful gift for 26 years. Kevin was a child of God before he became our child, and now Kevin is in his Heavenly Father's arms. Praise to the Lord for being a loving father to all humans.
We love you Kevin, and your life stories will be living on through the generations. “
