She was born March 6, 1959 in Chester, PA, to Roy and Patsy Myers.
After graduating from high school she followed her family to Texas, where she met her loving husband Robert. They settled in Spring, TX and together welcomed 3 children; Mitchell, Morgan, and Ashton, who were their absolute pride and joy. There was nothing she loved more than being a wife, mom, and mimi.
Kym had a long and very successful career in the title industry, where through hard work and dedication, she earned position of Branch Manager of First American Title Company in The Woodlands, TX.
There she served her community for many years until her death, making many friends along the way.
Her family and friends were what she cherished and enjoyed most in life. She was always helping someone from collecting bags to make beds for the homeless, donating to flood victims, teachers and first responders, or just to listen and give advice to her loved ones. Her generosity, compassion, love, and sass will truly be missed by so many.
Kym is preceded in death by her mother, Patsy King, father Roy Myers and brother, Rusty Myers. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert Hicks, children Mitchell Hicks (Emily), Morgan Ryder (Daniel), and Ashton Ross, grandchildren; Landon, Jackson, Eliana, Henley, Hunter, and Adalynn, stepmother Betty Dyer, brother Roddy Myers and sister Kelli Mullen (Ray).
A celebration of life, in her honor, will be held July 10, 2021, 2pm at Metcalf Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas with Melvin Stewart, family friend and pastor of Northplace Church officiating.
