Laura Elizabeth Coulson, 97, was born on February 18, 1919 in Shepherd, Texas and passed away on May 22, 2016 in Magnolia, Texas at the age of 97. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellie L. Hughes and Mary Elizabeth Whitten; husband, Vernon Coulson; Brothers, Rufus Hughes, Joe Hughes and Elmo Hughes; sisters, Cora Lee Baker, Bonnie Kirkam, Evie McGinnis,and Zelma Porter; sister- in-law, Joy May Few; Laura is survived by her daughter, Sharon Bowers and husband Herbert; son, Clyde F. Burney and wife Cindy; grandsons, Ron Bowers, Rick Bowers and Rusty Cormier; great grandchildren, Caleb Bowers, Jordan Bowers, Haley Bowers, Addie Bowers, Norah Bowers, Keian Cormier and Zoee Cormier. A visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch, Texas on FM1372 out of Madisonville, beginning at 10:00am.
