Lillian Marie Mills

Lillian Mills was born November 11, 1928 in Rosebud Community, Texas to Earl and Dora Gregory. She passed away August 28 at the age of 86 in Conroe Texas. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Richard (Pete) Bernard Mills, her daughter Meredith Moore of Charles Town, West Virginia, her son Richard Wayne Mills and wife Margaret of Conroe Texas, four grandchildren- Kimberly Fryer, Jason Fryer, Richard Lee Mills and wife Melissa, and Stacie Majkszak, one brother James Gregory, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents and four sisters. Lillian was raised in Three Rivers Texas and lived in the South Texas area for many years, but she considered Corpus Christi her home. Lillian retired from from the Texas Highway Department in 1981 and after Pete's retirement from Oil Field Rental they formed RL&M Leasing Co. which was active until their final retirement in 1994. She was a member of West Conroe Baptist Church and greatly enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Memorial service will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 in The Cashner Colonial Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Byrd officiating.
