It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gale Schultz, age 74, on May 8, 2025. Gale was born on October 2, 1950, and spent her life spreading joy, laughter, and kindness to all who knew her.
Gale was married to the love of her life, Johnny Schultz, for 40 wonderful years until his passing in 2009. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Gale also worked for many years in the dry cleaning business with the Davis family, where she formed close relationships with both co-workers and customers.
A lover of pranks and jokes, Gale had a playful spirit that brought lightness to every room she entered. Whether it was sharing a joke, pulling a harmless prank, or simply enjoying a conversation, she knew how to make others laugh and feel at ease. Her favorite pastimes included sitting outside with friends, enjoying coffee, and watching hummingbirds. Those quiet moments, shared with loved ones, were where Gale truly thrived.
Gale is survived by her son, Steve Schultz, and his wife, Cindy Schultz; her stepdaughter, Lisa Smith, and her husband, Harold Smith; and five grandchildren: Christopher Threet, Timothy Threet, Shane Schultz and his wife Kendall, Sean Schultz, and Sammy Schultz. Gale was also the proud great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Fred Schultz, as well as her sisters-in-law: Dorothy Golden, Dorothy Teale, and Ruthie Hobbs. She also leaves behind her special friend, Karla Bloodworth, who was like family to her.brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, and her best friend Judy, all of whom she is now reunited with in eternity.
