Linda Oberia Wright

Linda Oberia Wright, 82, of Conroe, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. She was born on August 18, 1942, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Orval and Alta Montee Cox. Linda graduated from Conroe High School in 1960. She worked for CISD in the warehouse and as a reading lab teacher for many years. Linda also volunteered at Conroe Regional Medical Center and worked part-time at Metcalf Funeral Directors.

Linda loved all of her animals dearly including a multitude of dogs, cats, horses, chickens and pigs over many years. She consistently spent time at the Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Linda was extremely social and loved spending time with family and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert Cox. She is survived by her son Michael Allen Wright; grandchildren Payton and Coy Wright and numerous family and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden Park Cemetery.
