On Monday April 29th, 2024 our dearest mother and grandmother was carried peacefully into Jesus’ arms; her final heavenly home. At the age of 92, she passed peacefully at her home in Montgomery, Tx surrounded by her family. Lody is now reunited with her husband Emil Joseph Malouf; Parents Joseph Glime and Anna (Naze) Glime; Brothers Byron Glime, Joe Glime and wife Pat. As well as her youngest daughter Cyndi Wilson and husband David; along with many other family and friends.
Lody was born on August 7th, 1931 in Casco, Wisconsin. While growing up in Wisconsin she met her husband Emil (Mal) Malouf. Emil and Lody married in February of 1952 at St. Willebrord Catholic Church in Green Bay. They gave birth to their 4 children- Danny, Randy, Kathy and Cyndi while living in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Shortly after marrying in the year of 1958, Lody and Emil moved their family of 6 south to the Conroe, Tx area. While living in Conroe, Lody worked for many years at Moore Supply and Co. until she was able to retire at the age of 65. Lody lived a long and spirit filled life. She spread an enormous amount of love and laughter to her family and friends whom she held so very near and dear to her heart. Many would describe her as a lady full of wit and spice. While that was true, she also shared her warmth and love amongst her ever-growing family. Each sibling, child, grandchild and friend knew the immense amount of love she had for each of them. Up until the day she passed she shared smiles and laughter with her family, cracking jokes every chance she could and with whomever she could. Lody enjoyed meditation, yoga, reading, puzzling and dancing. She was a force to be reckoned with but set a foundation of strength, compassion and love for her many family members she left behind. She will live on in our hearts and will be forever missed!
Lody is survived by her Sons, Randy Malouf and wife Gina, Danny Malouf and wife Cynthia, Daughter, Kathy Glass and husband Rob, and Sister-in-law, Elaine Evans; Grandsons Matthew Malouf and wife, Trey Wilson, Josh Malouf and wife, Chris Reichert and wife, Adam Biddle; Granddaughters Stephanie Wilson, Shannon Harris and husband, Shara Pustka and husband, Samantha Glass, Cassie Hurles and husband, Megan Crofton and husband, Holly Lowrie and husband, Jennifer Dinger and husband, Ashley Aguirre and husband, Lauren Manning and husband, and Tori Huet; As well as 38 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
The public viewing will be on Friday May 03, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Cashner Funeral Home. The celebration of her life will be at 2:00 pm with a gravesite to follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Matthew Malouf, Trey Wilson, Jeff Pustka, Mike Harris, Darren Hurles, Holden Smith, Bryce Smith, Landon Harris, Cameron Pustka, Cason Pustka, Caleb Sims, Bentley Hammett, Ryan Glass and Connor Hurles.
