Loretta Patricia Harper

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 28th from 3-6 pm and Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Monday, January 29th at Metcalf Funeral Home 1801 E White Oak Terrace in Conroe. Burial will follow at 2 pm at Brookside Cemetery 13747 Eastex Frwy and Lauder Rd.

Loretta was born to Howard and Lurline Maughn on March 2, 1938. She was a 30+ year member of Beta Sigma Phi and a 20+ year member of Mims Baptist Church in Conroe.

Loretta is preceded in death by her husband, Nolan K. Harper, Sr., her son, Jerry Janes, her parents and sister Karen Brown.

Loretta is survived by her children April Okerholm and husband Erik, Ryan Harper and wife Brittney, her step-children Larry, Pamela, Tara and Nolan, Jr., nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their sincerest thanks to Hospice Plus and Cura Healthcare Parkgate and especially to her step-daughter Pamela for taking such great care of her in her final years.
