

Loretta Jean Rutherford, 73 of Conroe, Texas passed away on February 21, 2017. She was born in Mexico, Missouri on November 10, 1943 to Myrtle Mildred Forbis and James Franklin Bagley. Loretta was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and the foundation of her family, who put others first and gave herself unselfishly to all those she loved, never wanting or expecting anything in return. She enjoyed life itself, especially spending time with her family and her cherished dog, Sugar. Her many hobbies included resale, thrift, and discount store shopping, online games, puzzles, and social media, new technology because she was tech savvy, and finding new recipes to cook. Loretta is preceded in death, by her parents; her brothers and sisters, James Bagley, Jerry Dale Bagley, Larry Bagley, Gary Bagley, Betty King, and Patsy Fielder; and her grandchildren, Jessica Bedair and Cody Bedair. She is survived by her husband, Travis Rutherford of 54 years; her three children, daughter Elizabeth Bedair and husband Wayne, daughter Pamela Altimore, and daughter Tina Hairelson and husband Michael; eight grandchildren, Christina Vera, Dana Coates, Timothy Bedair, Ladonna Rutherford, Joey Altimore, Zachary Bedair, Tori Altimore, and Chase Pattison; eleven great grandchildren, Matthew Straney, Jacob Straney, Kirsten Heckathorn, Kiley Heckathorn, Trenton Bedair, Izabela Vera, Riley Coates, Aaron Bedair, Kennedy Smith, Tatum Bolin, and Marley Bolin; Four sisters, Barbara Ross, Carolyn Douglass, Connie Warren, and Patricia Stites, and numerous other family members and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Friday February 24, 2017 at Metcalf Funeral Directors at 1801 E. White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas 77304 at 2:00 pm
