Mamadee Varfley Sirleaf

Mamadee V. Sirleaf was born on August 4, 1952, in Bopulu, Liberia, to Mr. Varfley Sirleaf and Bendu Sirleaf. He passed peacefully on December 27, 2025, at his home in Splendora, Texas, at the age of 73.

He spent his formative years in Bopulu, Bomi Hills, and Kakata, Liberia, and completed his secondary education at Booker T. Washington Institute (BWI) in Kakata, where he studied accounting, laying a foundation for a life of responsibility and dedication.

In 1985, Mamadee moved to the United States to continue his education at Prairie View A&M University and later settled in Minneapolis, Minnesota, building a life centered on family and purpose.

A devoted husband and father, Mamadee was the heart and storyteller of his family, delighting in sharing stories, offering guidance, and filling rooms with laughter. He shared a deep love with his wife, Mary Fallah Sirleaf, whom he married in 2007. Together, they raised a beautiful family. His children are Bendu, F.A., Varfley, Andre, Adama, Ahaji, Ansumana, and Joshua Sirleaf; Tamba and Armah Konah.

Mamadee worked as an accountant and later as a cross-country truck driver, roles that reflected his dedication and strong work ethic. He retired in 2015, leaving a legacy of perseverance and integrity.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Varfley Sirleaf and Bendu Sirleaf; his adopted parents, Dr. and Mrs. F. Amadu Sirleaf Sr.; and his siblings, Musu Sirleaf and Barcelue Sirleaf.

Mamadee V. Sirleaf will be remembered for his love of family, his gift of storytelling, and the joy he brought into every life he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, located at 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas, 77303, on January 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Following this, a Committal Service will take place at Garden Park Cemetery, also at 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas, 77303, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
