

Martha was born on the family farm near Marquez on June 19, 1934 to Ina and Marion Noey. She was a graduate of Normangee High School.
She lived most of her life in Houston.
She worked at Houston Central Warehouse for 35 years as an Office Manager.
She was known for her unique fashion sense, always dressed to the nines in her signature hats and jewelry. She loved to share stories of her life on the family farm near Marquez.
She loved to dance and sing. Martha’s zeal for life was inspired by her faith in God and immense love of family. She was always so proud to be “Mano” to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Peter Navarro and by her mother and father Ina and Marion Noey. She is survived by her brother Buren Noey, and her sister Alma Stewart. Also survived by children Pam and Joe Shepperd, of Belton, TX, Terry and Sheila Garner of Scott, LA and Melody and David Turner of Conroe, TX. Grandchildren Jennifer and Wayne Dolcefino, Ben and Kristen Shepperd, Emily and T.J. Jones and Tyler and Kenzie Garner and 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 27th at 11:00 o’clock in the morning, at the Bethesda Cemetery, Normangee, Texas. Cashner Funeral Home, of Conroe, Texas is in charge of arrangements.
